Your Captain:
My name is Josh Arnold, I am a lifelong Alaskan and have spent the past 30 years as a commercial fisherman, fishing guide, and wildlife tour operator in Sitka, Alaska.
My wife Dayna and I started Ocean Lure Charters in 1999 and we have provided wildlife tours and marine taxi services in Southeast Alaska for decades.
Our Boat:
The Dayna Joy is a 32' aluminum landing craft that was custom built for wildlife tours and taxi service in Sitka, Alaska. The Dayna Joy has a heated cabin with comfortable seating for up to six (6) passengers and has a head (bathroom) aboard. The large open bow allows for unobstructed views of wildlife; step outside and enjoy the view and then come back inside to warm up. The Dayna Joy is perfect for taxi service and remote drop-offs and pickups as opening the bow door allows for easy loading and unloading of passengers and gear.
